× The incomparable Peggy Baker’s latest creation, her body as words, is an exploration and explosion of female motive, mystique, and physicality, arising as a response to a radical new translation of Simone de Beauvoir's landmark work,The Second Sex. Outstanding dancers Sze-Yang Ade-Lam, Nicole Rose Bond, Aria Evans, Kate Holden, and Margarita Soria will bring the strange, unsettling and dangerous world of her body as words to life, with a commissioned score from Toronto-based innovators Anne Bourne (cello and voice) and Fides Krucker (voice).

"Her choreographic adventures have been risk-taking, imaginative and intellectually rigorous…She is an exemplar of artistic integrity and the pursuit of truth through art.” - Michael Crabb, Dance Critic - The Toronto Star
